Dong Bai Ferry Terminal (Cat Hai District, Hai Phong City) is the main ferry route connecting the mainland with Cat Ba Island through Cai Vieng Terminal. It is the most economical and widely used means of transportation for both tourists and locals.

Peak Season (June 9 – August 31, 2025)

  • Monday to Thursday: 52 trips/day, every 30 minutes.
  • Friday to Sunday: 78 trips/day, every 20 minutes.

  • Closing time: 18:00

From September 1 – December 31, 2025

There are 24 trips/day, divided into two time periods:

  • Morning: 05:00 – 11:30
  • Afternoon: 11:30 – 18:00
